Elk Hide Robe

Though not traditionally worn, I have had requests for a hide that is more affordable than a bison robe. Hence this beautiful thick winter elk hide with beaded blanket strip. The blanket strip is beaded on smoked braintan buckskin using 12/0 "Old Time" colors, then sewn onto a strip of navy trade wool. It is sewn onto the elk hide with sinew. Buckskin thongs with brass beads and cones complete this piece.

White buckskin dress,leggings & moccs

White '5 hide' buckskin dress, commercial brain. Patterned to Honor Wolf, the beadwork is done in cranberry white hears, gray, navy and white 12/0 Czech seed beads. Howling wolf back, fully beaded paw prints across the front to remind us to take care of what we have. Lower paw prints are outline only to remind us of what we have lost. Leggings have 3 paw prints on them with each mocc making the fourth paw print.

Shawl, fan and hair ties not included.
